Hey guys, unfortunately I'm in Chicago. looking for 2 things. Was hoping to find a decent outdoor range that allows a more "leisurely range day" with holster draws, etc. Also looking for any good courses you recommend in the area, pistol/ medical/ rifle.

I don't know of any outdoor ranges but https://gatguns.com this place was okay. I haven't been there in over 20 years. Maybe give them a call with your questions.

West Garfield seems to be an " open" shooting area , you should be fine.
