...in the right direction?

I am looking for some reading material/videos of how to get a better understanding of shooting long range and understanding mil/mil, and setting up drop charts, and knowing how many clicks to make given the distance etc. I know just enough to know that I do not know anything.

You'll need a good mount, with the scope mounted to fit your anatomy, eye relief, and positioning.

What rifle do you have, what mounts are you dealing with, what caliber, and what distances are you looking at?
