They aren't bad at all. Used mine for 2 yrs.
Spend more on equipment,,scope stand, spotting scope,, shooting mat.

Ask other HP shooters,,,they may have a good used jacket.

I have a CC cordura shooting coat that is as well made as a Creedmoor.  I ought to try it on, I bet it's 55 pounds too large nowadays.

I like the zipper in the arm of that nylon coat.  If you can get to Camp Perry this week or next week, I expect you could look at them first hand.
Keep your powder dry, and watch your back trail.

I did what you're thinking and recently upgraded to a Creedmoor coat. I was planning to take the old coat to the swap meet. Sz 44, still very serviceable. $35. If that works for you, pm me.
