Took this class from him this past weekend and had a blast. There's quite a bit of emphasis on competition but it carries over to many aspects. Footwork, efficiency of motion, throttle control, dry fire and acceptable sight picture for the range and target size you're working with. Of course the biggest thing he's probably known for is gripping the gun. It's gonna take days or weeks to really soak it all in. It was a good mix of education and fun. Class called for 800rds and I think I went though about 700 so pretty close there. I went in worried I'd be over my head but if you're competent and safe in handling a pistol you'll be ok. I'd do it again in the future. |
