I'd be lying if I said I didn't spend an embarrassing amount of time and money on dry fire gear before this clicked. Every product I tried did one thing and ignored two others. Laser cartridge tells you where, not why. Reset mag lets you keep pressing but gives zero feedback. Sensor tells you what went wrong but not where the shot landed. Once I combined several products, it finally made sense. I wrote up what worked for me and what didn't so someone else doesn't have to repeat my expensive trial and error. I figure if it saves even one person from the headache I went through, it's worth sharing, so I figured I'd drop it here: my guide on building a dry fire training system. I'd love to hear how others have approached this problem and if they've found a different setup that feels comprehensive. |
