Here is my Remington 541-x that CMP was selling many years ago and was a safe queen until late last year. I got it out and decided to dio my toes into 22lr benchrest. It needed to be drilled for scope mounts(a horror story for another time) and considering I paid only about $200+ for it and it had a 5+lb trigger, I wasn't looking to spend a bunch of money on a scope. I had bought some scopes from Vector that i thought were darn good for the $ and in perusing their site saw their https://vector2007.com/collections/sentinel-riflescope/products/scol-34-sentinel-x-10-40x50-center-dot-riflescope for $179. Well that hit my sweet spot and reviews were pretty decent and I am pretty pleased with it. Clicks are solid and repeatable, image real sharp up to about 35x, then drops off a bit, but still quite usable. No, it's not a Nightforce, but I'm never going to be able or want to spend $1500 on a scope I've worked the trigger over, adding lighter springs, polishing everything and adding the adjustment screws and have it down to a crisp 1lb. I added some bedding pads to the stock, and my last ARA 50 yard target, shot at 25yds was a 2250-11x shooting SK rifle match and the 50's were me, not the rifle. | I use this scope on my Bergara, Bushnell Match Target. It'll run you under 1K and you can get it cheaper than Bushnell's site if you search the interweb. |

I cannot access your Google Drive content, as it requires an account. Is the Google Drive file a pic of the rifle? Can you post it here, directly? Did you have a budget in mind for your scope? I'm wondering if your idea for a $200 scope is your approximate budget and whether the $900 scope recommended is compatible with your budget. |

Doh! I re-read the original post (again) and believe I have finally unraveled this topic - HE'S NOT ASKING A QUESTION. He is NOT ASKING FOR recommendations. He is MAKING an unsolicited recommendation. He is recommending the $179 Vector scope, as linked to in his post. He even has one or has handled one, as he knows it loses optical quality at high magnification. There are a bazillion reviews on YouTube. Is this just a veiled advertisement for Vector Optics? |

I am currently using a Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50 FFP with adjustable parallax and ERBC-2C MOA reticle. About $400-$450 USD. Your scope is getting the job done for much less. Congratulations! This is a sporter 541 Custom S. It may not be benchrest quality, but it is very accurate at 50, 75 and 100 yards and 250 yards. After that the glass poops out. Accuracy is goof enough to justify Eley Blackbox Match and Lapua Center-X. Very nice, crisp creep-free factory trigger adjusted down to about 1 pound.
