Tipton carbon fiber rods are excellent and won't bend like the Deweys can. I am slowly changing over to the Tiptons when I need new rods

I still have Dewey's and Boretechs.  Had them at least 15 years.  Still look like new

Don't fall in love with your cleaning rod or internet cleaning rituals.

Two or three dry strokes with a bronze brush to loosen crud.
Spray out with Break-Free.
Pull three cotton patches.
Mop out the chamber.
Done.

This.  I finally took the plunge on these last years and am completely sold.  Excellent rods.

+1 for Tipton 1-piece carbon fiber rods (for the bore).  I use a 9 inch Dewey 1-piece brass (pistol) rod for cleaning/mopping the chamber.
