No details on the rifle, as I want to stay within the CoC and not have this get flagged for trying to sell outside of the EE. If a mod has any questions or gives the go ahead to post more info, I will. I bought a rifle to get in to PRS at my local range, and life happens. Therefore, I’ve never done anything with it, and it’s just taking up room in the safe. I’d rather reallocate those funds into something else that will actually get shot and/or used. Do multiple $1000 rifles actually sell here in the EE? I don’t particularly want to deal with posting on the Hide, as I haven’t been active there in years, won’t be active after the rifle sells, and don’t want to pay to sell there or feed Frank’s ego. Is he even still around? Anywhere else I should consider listing it? GB? I do have a seller’s account set up there. Any thoughts, advice, or input are welcome! Thanks! |
I could think of several worse ways to spend some Saturdays than having some meat going on the smoker, drinking a few beers, and taking a few tokes while listening to some classic country. - BlueCoyote

I think you are making assumptions that aren't necessarily true. There are plenty of high dollar items sold here and on local boards. Shooters of all types exist everywhere across the country. That doesn't mean it will be an easy sell though. PRS guns are pretty specialized and it's not a huge market to begin with. If you bought an expensive rifle it might be a tough unload. This forum gets quite a bit of traffic so it's as good a starting point as any. I don't know what the fees are at SH but that might be the biggest concentration of PRS shooters. |
