Haven't seen very many pictures of the new AI AX chassis. Just got mine in yesterday from Euro-Optic. Just need to decide on glass and save a little bit longer. Looking back I wish I would have just bought a stiller or surgeon instead of using the 700. But I had this 700 in .243 that I didn't really shoot anymore after I got a Sako .243.
Rifle specs:
-700 action trued by Pac-Nor. Bolt fluted by them too.
-26" Pac-Nor Super match SS, #7 contour Barrel
-.260 Ackley Improved
-Accuracy International AX 2014 chassis in green

It is one of the funnest rifles I've shot in a while, no recoil and surprisingly accurate for a stock action and barrel.

As far as the chassis, I like it.  It was easy to set up and easy to get comfortable with, only minor complaint is you need a hex for the adjustments so you can't change it on the fly.  Weighs in at 3lbs 6oz so about 2lbs lighter than an AICS 1.5 and one of the lighter chassis systems out there.

If you're considering it I'd say go for it, I don't think you will be disappointed.

The rings I had on before were to low to work with the IMUNS mount, these are the only ones I had on hand high enough that would work. I'm going to have to see how the FLIR setup I'm buying sits height wise. I'm going to probably switch them out either way for a Spuhr mount.
