Hunting season is over so i need another precision rifle while my awesome 223 cools. I couldn't resist the price brownells had on the acc elite so have that on the way. Questions I think i already know the answer but would you remove the rail when removing the proof barrel so i can get more of the vice on the steel? I have a sac vice already. My plan is a 6.5 creedmoor barrel from patriot valley 1/7 or 1/8? why? 26" or 28" what muzzle brake This is in hopes to make it to 1275 and hopefully be able to see impacts better. Extra barrel from patriot valley will be 6 arc i've decided. I'm going to play see how far i can kill a pig with something stupid soft shooting so i can see my impacts maybe. 28" tube i want all the velocity i can get it's already going to be a heavy pig Brake if different than the 6.5? Scope Under 3k is their anything i should be looking at for long range shooting besides a gen 3 razor??

Brake wise, many recommend the 419 brakes, I like the bastard brakes from APA better, their gen 3 and gen 4 brakes offer adjustable vertical ports besides the horizontal ports to control muzzle rise...They use threaded plugs to adjust the vertical rise.....
