This is the second person i've taken out this summer to enjoy being able to shoot long distance. The kid had never shot past 200 in his life. He made impact's all the way to 1275 with the 6.5 creed. Thursday is fresh paint day so we literally shot every target so they wouldn't be fresh. I cant remember his screen name right now but i cant thank the guy enough who took me.............. Managed to hit the 4" steel at 560 with the creed and the 223 that is the target i have to hit. Now if i could just learn not to take so much shit. I even drug out my old super sniper and banged a little steel. Gotta tell you the razor gen III is a step up......    |

Shooting long range is great fun. I went to the NRA Whittington center last month and took the Precision Rifle School of 1000 Yards. I had a great time and learned alot. Although the class is called 1000 yards we did engage targets much further than that. We went one morning and shot the White Buffalo at 1123 yards and at the range where we were training we slowly moved out to a target at 1 mile. We all hit it. It took me 10 shots with my 6.5 CM but I can say I hit a 36" target at 1 mile. Attached File |

Just to much fun went back yesterday with my brother. Once the wind got consistent i hit the 5" gong at 860 with my 223 bolt gun. Then back to back hit's on 10" at 960 and 1060. Most fun gun ever. This was the last outing for the year for the 6.5 creed gonna tear it apart. Rebuild it into lightweight 6arc hunting gun get ready for nov. The 6.5 is everything people said it's a frigging hammer too i should just love. I think my problem is the targets are to big at 960 - 1275 and it isn't challenging with the 6.5. Anyone in TX who wants an invite to etts in Waxahachie feel free to IM me and i'll do my best to make it happen.
