Greenport Tactical Assn will host its yearly Sniper/Spotter Match September 27 2015
Here’s the important stuff: Squadding & MANDATORY Safety meeting at 8:30 AM Match starts at 9 AM (rain or shine) Only 24 teams! Cost $60 per team Load out: Sniper needs a precision scoped rifle w/ sling plus a centerfire handgun, 26 rds for rifle, 30 rds for handgun Spotter needs a carbine and 150 rds 9 Stages: (paper & steel) Feel free to bring accessories: bipod, range finder, hydration, spotting scope, folding chair, your stuff and you’ll lug it. NOTE: Nothing more than .308. NO steel core or armor-piercing ammo! At every stage where steel targets will be used, ALL ammunition will be checked prior to being loaded in the shooter's magazine. Do not pre-load your magazines. We will break for lunch. ‘Steak-on-a-stick,’ sides, beverage will be available for $10 per person. We’ll collect lunch money at sign-in. You are not required to buy lunch.The 1st & 2nd place teams will win plaques for both sniper & spotter and bragging rights until next year. We expect this match to fill-up quick and you must register with your match fee to reserve a position. How do you do that?
