| Has anyone done this yet? They sent no instructions and I can’t make sense of the parts. I thought it would just be two screws and a magwell swap, but there is a magazine latch installer? And a solid half inch pin? |

The one I just got is too early for conversion. They sent me two new mags to “try”(mags are in the mail) Still happy as I can shoot through an open window at my house, with my y h m phantom, I can work on mouse fart long loads not having to worry about cycling my ar. |

Full blown stupidity here. The additional parts are an alignment kit for AI-style magazines. I screwed my in the magwell and tried out the new lancer 300 specific mags and snap caps are feeding and extracting night and day better than the rotary mag. Through my research I did fin you have to have specific models with a cutout in the bolt for it to work. I’m assuming you can get the correct bolt if you really wanted as well. |

Good morning all! I read this thread the other day and got to thinking about my RAR in .223/5.56. I called Ruger customer service and as I was giving him my serial number he said he could tell just by the fact it started with 3 numbers and a dash that it was an older rifle and incompatible with this upgrade. I'm not sure how other rifles are numbered or where the compatibility starts but I thought I'd pass this along. |
