I’m not a good shot. I try . But that’s it. But thought I’d share. I have a Nightforce SHV 4x14x50 F1 on top with Nightforce rings. Completely factory rifle. I’ve had it a few years. Shot it a few times. Ammo ADI SMK 69 hollow point. Also Federal Gold Match SMK 69 hollow points. 5 round groups. 100 & 200 yards. 30 seconds between shots. 20 minutes between the 100 yd groups and 200 yd groups. I slid over and shot some pistols. Cold shot was counted in the group. I shot with a magpul bipod and a beanie type bag under the rear with me holding it. I couldn’t get it high enough on the rear so I took a towel and raised it to work out. The rifle was still in my control. My breathing would sway my cross hairs. I tried to have minimal movement. Ha ha Tried. But when the smoke cleared I was surprised that the ADI slightly grouped better than the Federal. I like to state I have no real skill set to hole punching small groups. I did lean lightly forward to put a load on the bipod. I also stacked the rear with the towel to be slightly high. I would have to put just alittle pressure to make the cross hairs get into the pull the trigger zone. For me this had the rifle in its best position so I couldn’t screw it up. Steady. I put calipers on it . Center to center. I see MOA. I wrote the reading on the center right of the targets. I’m happy with this rifle and scope combo. Attached File Attached File Attached File |

try some 60 grn V-maxs in it, mine shoots them about .4- .6 just about everything i shoot in my SV is around moa or under, i have about 375 rds through it now, i bought it a couple years ago to take on a PD hunt, started out with a Sightron 10X60 in factory stock. current set up is in a GRS stock with a Bushnell XRS 4X30 . TS2

If you’re sold on the ADI, definitely try a few different lots if you can, and then order a large order when you get a lot your rifle likes. I’ve seen more variability in groups from lot to lot vs what they produced pre covid. Also, if you get into reloading the 69’s…the ADI brass, Varget and 205m primers can be quite impressive. |
