I've been using a base Tikka T1x for a few years. Wanted to get a bit more serious my NRL22 game. I bought the cheapest 457 I could find and dropped it into an MDT chassis. Its a hell of an upgrade over the Tikka thats for sure. Still need to practice a bit more on the various barricades but much easier to shoot the MDT over the Tikka.

The 457 receiver is D shaped with the flat part of the D on the bottom where the action screws are. The L3I barrel is the same diameter as the 457 receiver but doesn't have the flat on the bottom like the receiver does. Have to look for a chassis that is cut down just past the front action screw on the CZ. Some chassis will work with just a slight removal of material and some just won't clear the 1.18 diameter of the L3I |
