I am trying to get more into precise 22lr shooting and am in the planning stages of a rifle build. I'd like to supress my rifle because shooting supressed is fun, and because I legally can. Question is: will removing/reinstalling a supressor have a negative impact on accuracy? All of my precise shooting would be done with a can, but I would also share this can with my handgun. I'm not sure if this is a bad idea. Sorry if this is a dumb question! |

most cans will have some sort of POI shift Dead Air Mask HD & SiCo Sparrow have been shown to generally have least noticeable shift KGM RF22 & HUXWRX FLOW 22 Ti are supposed to be GTG too go out & read some of the tests

I'm sorry I worded my OP poorly. I was sober, too! I expect a small POI shift with a supressor. I'm asking if I should expect a POI shift if sight in supressed, then I remove/reinstall the supressor for storage and sharing the can on other guns. I'm not weighing cases, measuring case rims, etc, so it sounds like a non issue. |

I usually make witness marks on the gun and suppressor so I know it's in the exact same spot as when I took it off to fit in the safe. |
| From everything I've read about in my suppressor research. When it comes to poi shift and nothing else you want THUNDER BEAST ARMS. Suppressed long range precision, this seems to be the 'go to'. Noone says they are the quietest or lowest back pressure or anything else. But they are the king of poi shift from what I read. |
