This year is going to be a big year in Ohio for precision rifle shooters. We have 3 options for club matches and a 4th just across the border in Ashland Kentucky.
The Buckeye Precision Rifle Club is hosting PRS club matches at Southington Hunt Club in northeast Ohio, and at Thunder Valley Precision just north of Zanesville, which also hosts two national two day matches. These matches are an independent series that also counts for regional PRS club points. Rayners Range just south of Zanesville is also hosting several club matches towards the end of the summer. These will be designed to bring new shooters into the sport while providing a challenge and skills practice for shooters of any level. Price will be $30, matches will be one day, 5-8 stages, and 50-60 rounds on average. No pre-registration will be required, show up the day of. Registration will open at 7:00am match day, with shooting to start at 8:00am. Match dates: June 3rd, July 1st, August 5th, and possibly a November match. North East Kentucky Fish & Game is also hosting excellent PRS club matches just over the border from Ohio in Ashland Kentucky.
