I have been on the quest to find a new 22 for precision shooting. I have been saving for a while and was set on a CZ 457 MTR. But I started doing the math on the setup and considering how it would be used long term. I realized I would likely end up with more invested in the CZ than I want so I moved on to plan B. I bought my first Bergara, HMR 300wm, last fall and I am very happy with it. So I looked at the Bergara options and rolled the dice with a BMR Carbon. Picked it up yesterday, scoped it with an old Vortex PST and hit the range. I shot 6 loads and the two best were SK Pistol and Rifle Match. I need to order some more ammo to test because this is showing signs of being a decent shooter. Attached File Attached File Attached File Edit: Took it out to 100 yards today. A little gusty but groups were good. Following that I went to 240 yards and shot some small rocks on the bank. This one is a shooter. Attached File |

The rail on this model isn’t 30 moa like I thought. I discovered it isn’t supposed to be per their web site after emailing customer service. Customer service replied and said they would be happy to exchange the rail nc. I told them thanks anyway, I ordered an after market rail. That’s great CS! |
