Looking at getting a new bipod that can work on multiple rifles. What’s the hive say about this? Ideally it works be easy to move between a 308 bolt action, 308 semi auto, and AR-15, and a 6.5 Creedmore bolt action if need. All but the 6.5 creed have M-lok at the 6 o clock position. The 6.5 creed has the standard sling swivel mount. |
| Are you looking to save weight and does it have to be a bipod or will a tripod work? Your generally safe ith anything Bog Pod related. If weight isn't a factor than buy a Bog Pod Deathgrip and be done with it. |

| I lean towards Harris bipod’s but I have a few Caldwell knockoffs that I have used for several years that have impressed me for the price point. I have a Stoney Point tripod that I robbed the monopod off of that I carry all the time. I use it to steady my binoculars and range finder all the time. I even use it with my crossbow. My wife bought an Allen Tripod that she robbed the monopod off of. Boggy makes a good one also. I also have a tall three extension Harris bipod that I use for calling. Personally I don’t know how you’re going to get away with just one. They’re like rabbits they multiply. Good luck. |

I've been using one bipod for years. I put an ADM picatinny QD mount on a Harris notched and swivel bipod and use it on all my rifles. All my gas guns have a picatinny section on the front-bottom of the rail. On my bolt guns I use a Badger Ordnance Bipod Accessory Rail. It replaces the sling stud and has a picatinny section for the bipod as well as a QD port for a sling. Attached File |

I have and use Atlas PSRs, Harris, Magpul. The PSRs are on my prone/long range rifles, Harris on 18-20" ARs, Magpul on the 22LRs. The PSR and Harris bipods are tough. I've beat on them pretty good. IMO, the PSR is the easiest to load consistently and are able to adjust to any shooting needs i have. The Harris bipods are tough, but they dont offer the flexibiity of the PSRs and they can "hop" if not loaded correctly. The Magpuls are fine, but they flex more.than the other two and that's why they're on 22 rifles. |

You can buy mlok arca plates and universal ones. I do this and use the area 419 arca clamp on a Harris bipod and works great. If you would like to take it a step further RRS makes a clamp that works on both arcca and regular picatinny. This is what I’m leaning towards getting next. |
I like the Atlas bipods with a RRS ARCA/picatinny adapter. The clamp is great for a wide forearm (Matrix Pro chassis), but the knob version works for everything else (and is half the price as the clamp). It makes it super easy to swap between rifles. I do keep a few Harris BRM-s for hunting rifles/sling stud AR’s. |

A 5 slot picatinny section under the rails and a qd bipod. Done. I have a magpul bipod with a adm qd. This setup is for the lightweight guns. I have a Warne bipod with a built in qd. That one goes under the ar10. |

My solution was to just put a magpul sling stud on the mlok guns for use with the Harris. It's very lightweight and low profile. Much lighter than a qd rail plus a pic QD. For quad rail guns, I have a midwest industries QD sling stud. VersaPod is very easy to take off and put back on. No tools needed, just press a lever. The bipod slides on/off an adapter that stay's mounted on the handguard. Can't think of another bipod that can be moved around as easily. Has cant but no pan. Very heavy duty. https://versapod.com/ |

I'm looking too and I've narrowed it to either an Atlas CAL or Harris on either an Area419 ARCA or an Arisaka picatinny Rail Slider. Kinda leaning Atlas/Arisaka at the moment, there are so many pic rail accessories out there so I don't pigeonhole myself with ARCA and it can slide up and down the rail the same. Only disadvantage I can see is not having the wide flat base for bags that ARCA gives you. And Atlas because I don't think my gun fits nearly into any competition boxes (16" 5.56 with a 4-16x ATACR so QP matches would end up being one of the more open classes with more long range calibers) and thus not competitive at all so there's no reason to chase deployment speed IMO. |

I just put a rrs harris adapter on mine last night so i can go arca or picatinny. No real ringing it out yet but from reviews id imagine it’s solid. I went with the knob version as i’ve become a custom to using ballheads / knobs. I use them in all my hunting blinds thermal scanning is awesome with a tablet.

Something that I’ve been playing with on my SPRish carbine is a 17S adapter on a Harris BRM-S then using an Arisaka Defense Rail Slider. It’s basically a picatinny rail that slides like ARCA so it’s quick detach and you can still use the pic rail for pic rail things when the bipod is removed. It’s working so far, I’ll know more after I use it for a few more months. |
| I have an MDT Backcountry on my XCR-M. Bought it specifically for the light weight (5 oz.), but it's plenty stable and it detaches easily with the built-in Pic rail QD. |

I've a couple of Accu-Tac bipods which fit ARCA rails. I rather like them. They are the SR-5 G2 and BR-4 G2 which have different length legs. The rifles I put them on have ARCA rails. My rifles that don't have ARCA rails don't need bipods for their intended uses. |
