Target Peeps are fine for paper targets but awful for shooting game. Nothing will be ruined by installing a scope and the peeps can be reinstalled at any time. |

Making progress - albeit a bit slower than I'd like. Gifted scope now mounted. Need to do a rough bore-sight and then get to the range. I'm not sure if I'll like this scope even if the optics are good - not a big fan of parallax adjustment on the front objective. I'll know after I use it for a while. |

40X, Lilja Barrel, S&B 12-50, Eley Blue.
Pics taken at Olympic Training Center. Colorado Springs CO. 60 shots inside 1 cm at 50 meters. The hits shown on electronic target only indicate center of hit. Shot #60 shows the actual bullet diameter in relation to target. The latest software update fixed that.

Marlin 795ss Boyd's tacticool stock Barrel cut down to 16" and threaded for suppresor. Fake one mounted. Dip picatinny rail, trigger, and charging handle Nikon monarch 4-16x mildot reticle scope Best group ever was 9/10 shots in under a dime sized area at 25yds. That was with the old center point scope I had on it from walmart. |
Savage FV-SR. I plan on replacing the scope eventually, but it has performed well so far. Nailed this coyote over the weekend with 2 shots over 150yds, on the run!

Not many actual precision .22lr rifles in this thread. Here is mine, she is a bit worn but I have been shooting competivly for a very long time and she has probably over half a mil rounds through her.
For those few tube matches I can shoot :)
