I have been itching for a short 6.5 CM bolt gun and got a chassis on order for the Howa 1500 heavy barrel 6.5. The receiver/barrel is only available at Brownells but there are some similar priced complete rifles out there. Currently they are all out of stock. Does Howa tend to release in batches or should I start getting worried about the lack of availability? For specifics, I'm looking for the Howa 1500, 16.25" heavy barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor. |

I appears they release in batches. I had several alerts set up for barreled receivers and complete rifles and my inbox was swamped. Unless you're looking for a specific barreled receiver, it appears to be slightly cheaper to buy a complete rifle. |
