Friend is having difficulty seating primers in some once fired Hornady match brass in 7PRC.  Are the factory primers crimped in?

It’s not uncommon for Horniday to crimp primers in. Calling Horniday brass ….match … is a real stretch.

I agree but that's the label on the box from Hornady.  Everything he is describing to me says it might have a slight a crimp.  He is telling me that he is having a hard time seating primers.  He is reloading for 6.5 PRC as well and isn't having the issues.  This is Hornady Match ammo from the shelf he has shot and trying to reload.

Tell him to hit it lightly with a debarring tool. If it seats easily after then it is crimped. If it is the same it’s just tight primer pockets.
