Been wanting another bolt gun for a while. I had a Rem 700 SPS TAC AAC but sold it several years ago, so want a replacement of sorts. Right now I'm just shooting out to 110yd on my home range, but will be getting out to 2-300yd in the future. Maybe further. Just bench shooting, not a hunter or into competition. Heavily invested in 308. Going to keep this new rifle in same. Been looking at Seekins Havak PH3, but cant seem to find any available to check out let alone online, seems everyone is back ordered. Next up on the list is the Bergara HMR Pro or Premier Divide. Leaning on the Divide between the two, but was hoping for some real life comparisons or experience between the them. I should add, Tikka is off my list. Same with Remington or Savage. No interest in custom builds either. Does anyone have any thoughts, or experience with the HMR Pro or Premier Divide? |

I gave a Bergara B-14 in 308 to a friend was had just about zero shooting (let alone long distance rifle and hunting) experience…and he tagged one deer (limit here) each of the (2 so far) yearyhe has hunted with it. The kicker: both were taken at >450 yrs. A long way of saying I am very impressed with the capabilities of Bergara. |
