 I have wanted a bolt action .22lr for 30 years now. Never got around to buying one. Last week I scratched the itch. CZ 475 Varmint MTR, Area 419 rail, Busnhell 5-30 Match Pro ED. Looking forward to learning about this one. |

Both are accurate rifles with the right ammo. The MTR has a match chamber, so it can be a little more ammo picky, but a tad more accurate once you find the ammo it likes. My last CZ, I got the cheapest Varmint ( synthetic suppressor ready) and replaced everything but the action. Barrel is 26" on it. I think it's going to be my Long Gong gun. The longer barrel seems to keep the ES and SD numbers lower than the same ammo in my shorter barrels.

Currently have a Anschutz 1712 I use for silouette, that tight chamber sometimes causes failure to extract. |

I really haven't had any extraction/ejection issues with any of my CZ 457s. |
