Well that was fun. Did my first 1,000 yard event Sunday. All I can say is wind is a bitch and we had a lot of laughs. I started the day by proclaiming I only need 1 round for the sighter because it was going to be an X! Lots of laughs at that. Fired my first cold bore sighter and I hear a bunch of moaning and cussing. Look at the target system and it was an X! lol! It went down hill from there! But I did end up finishing 3rd over all. That was a miracle because the wind flags at each range were facing different directions every 2-3 shots. Over all a lot of fun! Now I need to find heavier bullets for the Creedmoor! |
