Much more than several years old. I used some HBN bullets back around 2006. Didn't see much difference with it.

I know this is an older post but the vastly experienced gunsmith Greg Tannel includes it in all of his barrel chamberings. He sales it as well. So if he uses it then I am not going to argue about it.
I have used it as well in my 6.5x47. I have no actual way of proving it doesnt work help but I keep in my barrel. |

Benchrest guys use it. Here is Speedy talking about it as the last step in their cleaning process.
