I have a FN SPR A1 ( 308 ) and a Tikka T3x super varmint ( .223 ) . I need a bore guide for them. I have gently cleaned them in the past. Time to do it right and safely. I like the possum hollow set ups with the cleaner slot. But seems to either be out of business or out of stock . I did email them. Haven’t heard anything back yet. Looked up a few other styles. If I can’t get the possum hollow set ups, what’s my solid second and third choice. I am a recreational Shooter. Normally by myself , with a few squirrels and maybe one rabbit. Don’t have to be the best of the best. But not junk either. Thanks. Wardawg Attached File Attached File |

America is at that awkward stage, it’s too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards....Claire Wolfe

I see Creedmore sports has their own bore guides. Red derlin. About $29 a piece. I’m going to give them a call tomorrow to see if they match up with the rifles I have. I measured the bolts and wrote it down. I only found one possum hollow for my Tikka T3x 223 , out of Canada. Said $60. The creedomores have a solvent slot also with the O ring . I do like the PMA. But $$$$$. I know , buy once cry once. Wardawg |

A inexpensive bore guide is all you need, the possum hollow or a Sinclair will work fine, spend the money on stuff that improves performance... As you can see just a simple cheap Sinclair bore guide...... Attached File |
