[Part A]
Details for the February 14th shoot are as follows:

The match will be held at BWSA, please park in the clubhouse lot. Show up and sign in between 8:30-9:00am, the match will go till noon. Cost per shooter is $20. A safety brief will begin at 9:15am, all shooters must be in attendance. We will go hot on the 600yd berm at 9:30am.

For this month we are going to to three different things: (1) a practice secession from 9:30-10:00; (2) a known distance stage from 10:00-11:00; and (3) a barricade stage from 11:00-12:00.

For the practice session, there will be nine steel targets at different distances. Shooters will be given rough known distances and will have the opportunity to shoot to verify their dope. How many rounds are expended during this period is at the shooters discretion. It may be a good idea to make a range card during this time!

For the known distance stage, shooters will shoot on the same targets (1-9). Each shooter will have four minutes to engage all targets with a maximum of two rounds. If a shooter gets a first round impact they move to the next target, if they miss on the first round they may reengage. If the shooter misses on the second round they must move to the next target. First round impacts = 2 points, second round impacts = 1 point, no impact = 0 points. This will require a max of 18 rounds. Based on last months shoot, four minutes is going to be a fast par time, so shooters need to plan accordingly.

[Part B]

The Barricade stage will consist of nine shots total fired from three different positions using a barricade as support. There is the equivalent to a kneeling supported and two standing supported positions on the barricade. Shooters will be required to transition from each position with their BOLTS OPEN (or weapon on safe for semi's). Shooters will have three minutes to engage targets #3, #5, and #7 from the previous stage, with one round each from every position. Shoots will be scored as a hit (2pts) or a miss (0pts) - follow up shots are not permitted for this stage.

The total round count for the mini-match this month is 27 rounds. Shooters are encouraged to bring additional ammo for the practice session. Note, we are getting to that time of year where the weather is an issue. If for any reason a match needs to be canceled, notifications will be posted by 8:00pm on Friday. Feel free to comment with questions below, hope to see you at the range!!
