Details for the April 11th match are as follows:

The match will be at BWSA, please park in the clubhouse lot. Show up and sign in between 1:00pm - 1:30pm, the match will go till around 5:00pm. Cost per shooter is $20. A safety brief will begin at 1:30pm, all shooters must be in attendance. We will go hot on the 200yd berm at 2:00pm.

This month there is three different stages: (1) Chaos Cards on the 200yd line; (2) Unsupported positions on the 600yd berm; and (3) a bounce back drill on the 600yd berm. No time will be allotted for a practice session during this match. However, a range card will be published the night before so shooters can pre determine their DOPE.

Stage #1 - "Chaos Cards" | 6 shots | 12pts | 20sec per shot
In the clubhouse shooters will randomly draw two cards from a deck. The card face values will become the shooters designated targets for the stage. Upon arriving on the 200yd line shooters will have 20sec to get into a firing position and engage their first card on board #1. Then they will have 20sec to find and engage their second card on board #1. The same process will be completed for boards #2 and #3. Two points per hit, twelve points overall.

[Continued]

Stage #2 - "Unsupported Positions" | 8 shots | 16pts | 3min total
From the 600yd berm shooters will engage a 12"x12" plate from the standing, kneeling, sitting, and prone position. Two shots per position, hit or miss. Engagement distance will be around 350yds. No bipods are allowed for this stage - having and knowing how to use a sling is highly recommended!

Stage #3 - "Bounce Back Drill" | 12 rounds max | 12pts | 3min total
From the 600yd berm shooters will engage six numbered targets, without making adjustments on their turrets, in this order: 1-6-2-5-3-4. The pattern works near to far, with the final engagement ending on the mid distance targets. Shooters are permitted two shots per target. First round impacts equal two points, second round impacts equal one point, and if the shooter misses on the second round they must move on to the next target. Mil holds - know'em, and love'em.

Total round count for the match is 26 rounds. I look forward to seeing everyone on the range!

RANGE CARD IS UP!!!!!!!

Looks like we are going to have a great day of shooting. Please note, there is a later start time for this match so show up and sign in between 1:00pm - 1:30pm. A safety brief will begin at 1:30pm, all shooters must be in attendance. The match will go till around 5:00pm (or earlier depending on how fast we clear the stages).

Know how to use your sling prior to the match. Practice getting into each position with the muzzle facing in a safe direction (imaginary down range) before you show up.
