Hi all, I’m looking for some long range/precision loads for .300 SAUM. I’m new to the caliber(but not new to this kind of shooting or reloading) and kinda looking for a direction. Basically I’m wanting to develop a 1000+ yard load. Most of the data I see is more geared towards hunting loads/bullets. Perhaps better asked, are there any particular favorite powders or bullets for this caliber? |

Buddy has one and he is loading 180gr TTSX over H4350 getting about 3/4 MOA out of his Mod 7. Velocity is 2950FPS any faster shows pressure signs. Good luck with it,the biggest issue for him has been case volume for the longer better BC bullets. Start low and use "ladder" work up loads.Didn't take long for him to get there. |
