| I would like to add some freeze dried foods to my preps. It's been a long while since I looked into this so hoping you guys could point me in the right direction for an online resource. |

You could buy a freeze dryer and make your own. For about $2k you can get a Harvest Right small and extra trays. There are some threads here about it. Myself and a coworker each have one. I currently have a batch of apples going. I'm doing bananas next and then eggs. |

I did a taste test one Christmas of every variant of “breakfast skillet” I could find. I think I had seven, including the military and Mountain House OG retro packaging, Peak, a few other brands. Mountain House was still the best. I get #10 cans once I’ve sampled via pouch. Peak and Nutrient are ok. I will stop at an outdoors store occasionally to try new flavors… pad thai etc. |
