| I’ve been using cheap 168gr FMJ and I ran out this weekend. Killed 21 pigs. I buy in bulk and thought I would get nicer ammo. I’ve heard the 110gr copper bullets are good but came across this as well. 108 Grain HV LF STYX SX Ruag Ammo from s and g ammo. They have a S&B with txtr bullet cheap as well. What would you guys buy. I was doing good with 168 grain bullets for $.65 a round what is the $2 a round ammo going to get me. |

| I'm late to the party but will offer my insights. Started with subs (208gr AMAX) and was not impressed with lethality. Moved to Barnes TacTX 110gr and killed everything - including my wallet. Gambled on some MidwayUSA factory seconds and determined them to be Hornady VMAX 110gr and while cost effective and lethal I ran out in short order and decided to try their SST in 120gr. These have been the best for my gun thus far - very accurate, a little more thump, median cost. I've got 2 mags worth and plan to order more for fall. |
