I need to do some maintenance and recaulk some RV windows where the caulk is starting to separate. Around the house, I use Lexel as it stays very clear instead of yellowing like silicon caulk. Is there any good reason to not use it to reseal RV windows and trim? This would be used on a Winnebago travel trailer with Adzel panel sides. |

| Silicone will always yellow over time and is far less durable than something that is a copolymer rubber like Lexel. Lexel can also be applied even in wet conditions, I've been onsite with a gentleman who explained he fixed his RV window during a rainstorm with Lexel and it stood the test of time. It's good to have on hand for RVs. I can't recommend it enough. |

I've never even considered that you could use it in the rain. Good info. |
