Thinking about heading to the area for camping for a few days, coming from central OH (Amish country), pulling 31' TT, probably coming out I-70. Suggestions on campgrounds, (reasonably accessible), family friendly places to visit, things to do/see. Won't be doing any water sports/rafting, difficult hiking, etc Ideas appreciated  |

Barkcamp State Park is probably your best bet. About 15-20mins west of Wheeling. Nice little place. Trails to walk and a small beach area. Grand Vue Park in Moundsville, WV is also an option. Not sure about the camping options for a 31ft TT, but there is a pool there and also trails, zip line course, Frisbee golf course, mini golf and a couple other things. About 20mins south of Wheeling. |
