I'm looking to get into the 6.5 Grendel platform, and would like to know what length barrel would be best, I'm looking at a few 18 inch and 20 inch barrels. I'll mainly be shooting 250 yards or less. Thanks, Joe |

For those ranges. 16in, you don't need the extra range you can get from the added length and the portability is fantastic. You can carry a 16 by the pistol grip hanging from your hand it won't hit the ground. This often isn't brought up but trust me, it comes in handy walking fields chasing hogs or going to tree stand.
