Each year they swarm and this year is the worst ever. In prior years they didn't bite, this year a few are. Need to nuke them and need guidance on how to do so. Welp, looks like the 'new' site doesn't allow me to attach photos? These bugs look like ladybugs [maybe they are?]. They are round, shiny, burnt orange and have black spots on them with a black head. |

I clise up the building and use bug bombs Gets them in the cracks and crevices they hide in. Took 3 years to be rid of them. Been 6 years since last outbreak |

| Blast them off the house with a hose and vacuum them up inside. I did that at the farm and after a few years we had way less each year idk if they breed or lay eggs or wtf but being OCD about them seems to have helped. Have them at this house too but its 2 or 3 at a time not 30,000 |

| Late seeing this thread. Those stinky things are always bad at my place and the smell they put off usually ends up making me sick. Pretty much have to spray them with insecticide directly. Not sure what kind is the best but I usually use Tempo on the outside of the house. The whole citrus soap and oils hasn’t ever worked for me on repealing them and love bugs. Read where the Japanese beetle traps are supposed to work for them also. Have 4 of them hung around the place and haven’t seen anything in them yet. Though there were not very many compared to usual for me in the fall and winter. Spring they usually get bad for a couple weeks so I may change out the traps and give them another chance in a few weeks. Also that yellow trail they leave behind on things windows and your light globes has a scent to attract others. So clean it when you see it. I tend to pressure wash the house a couple times during their invasion and definitely afterwards and note where they like to bunch up to spray for them or figure out how to keep them from getting inside. |
