Assuming they screw in & not attached to studs, the cheapest I've seen are bicycle axle extensions for training wheels on amazon. The ones I bought last are out of stock, but looked like these. They do reference a 3/8-24 thread. $9 for two. 
Verify thread size & pitch with vendor to be sure. Return if they don't fit If they are just coupling nuts, those are cheaper & easier to find. |
