We are at the point where I have the basics/most likely scenarios covered and are expanding our preps. Due to our proximity to chemical/nuke plants, our home is at an elevated risk of having to shelter in place. In fact, a chemical plant explosion has happened once before. That said, I am measuring exterior windows, doorways, and vents for plastic sheeting. In the event of a shelter-in-place order due to NBC situation, I would prefer to have these pre-cut and labeled for fast deployment. Is there a vendor that offers pre-cut 6 mil vinyl sheets (or similar) for this purpose? I understand that I can purchase a large roll and cut my own, but I would be willing to pay for something like this simply due to the time and space required. In an ideal world, I would provide this vendor a spreadsheet with all measurements and they would cut and ship me the required pieces. |
| I don't think you're gonna find anywhere that will do a special order like that and have it come out any cheaper than buying a roll of plastic from lowes and cut out. As such, literally anybody with a pair of scissors and a can-do attitude can be your vender. Pick a local handy man or a grandma who cuts fabric part time at the fabric store. They can cut out what you need, then throw away the other 60% of the box. Thats about what its gonna be to special order online and have it shipped to you. |

I bought polycarbonate 4x8 sheets off Amazon for our greenhouse build last year. They are pretty durable. Very easily cut- lay a level or straight edge on them and cut with a tile knife. |
