| Do any of you use Titanium water bottles? I used to try stainless, but there was a metallic taste to the water. I am wondering if anybody notices a metallic taste with Ti. |
| I had two titanium water bottles. I don’t remember who made them. They were light but still had an odd hard to describe metallic taste different than a stainless bottle. Oddly both had a different taste compared to glass. Make sure you can return it if not satisfied as they are pricey compared to stainless. Both were singIe wall and uninsulated. I went back to stainless. |

I use a camelbak titanium water bottle for bike rides since it keeps temps cooler and lighter than SS and plastic. For water, I never noticed a metallic taste but with coke, it does taste fizzier like from drinking coke from a can as opposed to the plastic bottles. |
Stainless doesn't bother me too bad, but I prefer titanium. Both Boundless Voyage and Silverant make titanium bottles made to fit Nalgene caps if that's important to you. The Silverant has a very large 1500ml bottle as their biggest option. Expensive though.  ROCK6 |
