| I don't think the threat is too much in my locale, but I have used Comfortis with my dogs for many years and have never had a problem. It's a monthly pill but usually I give it only every 2nd month. It is a prescription item from a vet here in the US but I hear it can be ordered for much less cost (still a lot IMHO) from Canadian online sources. |

She has been in heartworm treatment so she has to have the extra chems to take care of those and make certain they never come back. We use Advantage II on the cats. Because we have so many, we buy Advantage II for Extra Large Dogs. We draw up the right dose for each cat's weight using a syringe, from the little vial, and each vial does several cats (depending on weight). I am not recommending that anyone else do this. I checked and double checked ingredients and talked to a lot of people at shelters and the vet before I did this. Vet just whistles a tune and says "I don't want to know that."  It's what shelters do and it's the only way decent, consistent flea control is affordable for us. |

| I’ve always used the bravecto chews. Along with keeping the yard sprayed. Might not be able to spray this year since I have bees again. Stuff I use is works really well on some things not on the label. If you want to spray your yard I can look up in the current book I have what’s recommended and their rates to apply. |
