So I've been researching and plan on making a purchase this week. From my research, the TFO NXT seems to be the best buy for the money. My question is should I buy a separate rod and reel? Sierra has a Lamson Liquid for $70 and a TFO Pro II rod on closeout for $130. So I'd be $200 in and still not have a case, line, tippet and etc. Is there that big of a difference in quality for a beginner or should I just buy the combo and get on the water? Thanks in advance for your input. |
