Life is just as busy as ever, but this year I really put a ton of effort into deer hunting and trying for a wall hanger. I haven't killed a deer in 4 years, and let many walk that I previously wouldn't have. No, you can't eat antlers but they sure are nice to grab onto when pulling one out of the woods! | The dog was raised to run deer. Not my preferred way to hunt but others enjoy it. I hunt 1000 acres and the dogs end up on my property sometimes. I'd rather shoot the deer they run before they come off my place and into the hands of the dog hunters. Seems like the dog hunters don't care about growing deer like I do |
