Misread as slow pitch jiggling.

I've never been jigging when fishing, but don't mind learning.

It started a few years ago and is getting popular. No doubt it pulls in more fish.

Basically recreates a wounded fish trying to swim away from the reef then read only to tire and flutter back down. Repeat. It triggers strikes

check out u-tube, but don't buy them $30-40 jigs until you understand the whole thing;
(i assume u mean saltwater fishing)

i would talk to some local captains (charter or party boats) as it mainly works for reef/bottom fish
and a lot of time it's in deep water.

i'm going out soon & will get to try out some chineeze jigs i got & using the gear i already have, not a +$300 2 speed reel &
$300 custom rod, as i can't get out as much as i'd like & can't justify the cost.

do the best you can with what you have- good luck

Right on.  Johnny Jigs is a local..been out there doing pretty good when the current isn't ripping. Just have to mount up my trolling motor. Pain in the ass having to have someone keep bumping the motor in and out of gear to keep the lines from scoping out.

But got used to it pretty quick and got a nice mutton on my very first drop a while back.
