Finally got around to relocating the license plate on the dump trailer. This is where is was originally - got bent the first time the trailer dumped. Attached File This is the relocation Attached File It's a magnetic mount with plate lights consisting of 2 printed components, each mount having a pair of 100lb pull cup magnets & an LED plate light. The feed for the lights goes across the hinge. It is a 14awg pair with silicon insulation, covered with a fabric wire wrap. Attached File Attached File |
| I relocated the plate on my dump trailer to the same spot for the same reason. I don't use it on the road at night much, so I did not attempt to figure out a plate lighting solution. Your fix looks like it is well thought out. |
