What are you folks using? Garmin RV GPS, Google maps, trucking apps, different apps? What works for you & what didn't work? What's good for 30' TT + truck, as far as clearances, no sharp turns, etc... Good info on fueling stops is a plus  Obviously truck stops , Buccees etc are always an option discuss |

I use an app called Copilot. It lets you limit roads by type as well as allowing you to put your size limits in to keep you off the roads that will end poorly. On the side of the screen it gives you a 60 minute trend that gives you great SA on traffic issues & slowdowns. |

Never needed one. Have logged 30,000+ miles towing all over the US. Use common sense, and always be thinking about your exit strategy. Truck stops are always a safe bet Cracker Barrel always has RV-friendly parking Ditto Walmart Use Google Earth to recon a possible destination's parking lot. Only once have I found myself in a sticky situation. Had to back about a quarter mile and then do a jacknife 3-point u-turn in Idaho Springs, CO. Attached File |

I use a Garmin dezl 780 that was in my semi until I moved to a desk. It has the option to put in you truck or RV dimensions and has POIs that are useful for trucks and RVs like truck stops, number of parking spaces, roadside parking and heavy equipment shops. Beware of any navigation that you input your vehicle size, it will try to route you around restrictions but the database has limitations and it often gets things very wrong, "Trust but verify" as Reagan said. Getting into a place you shouldn't be in with this beast is no fun  |

We have a Garmin RV GPS and it does a good job. We mostly use it when on long trips or more so on routes we have never been on. Plug in your length, width and height and I will do a good job warning you about narrow bridges, low overpasses. Otherwise we just use our phone for traffic info. |

I use Garmin RV GPS and Google Maps. I use satellite view on Google Maps to assess parking lots since I can't back up at all without unhooking my toad. Attached File |
| I used the Pilot app on some cross-country trips, it lets you filter for RV friendly stops. Some have bulk propane fill, RV parking, dump stations, and more, but we used it mostly to make sure we could plan ahead for some pull-through fuel stops. When you get out in the boonies the gas stations can be too small to even have enough room to get out of the road. |

Another vote for Garmin, I use a RV 780, it’s made for RV travel. The ease of use and fairly large screen got me. No issues yet. Attached File |
