| Yeah, I don't get it. I can tune down a few k and p/u some guys in illinios, they can make me out, but not rl clear. But I can't be heard in TX. I got alpha delta DX-CC in an inverted V 44 ft center with ends 10 foot off the ground. I wouldn't think I would be skipping over folks in TX, but I am, at least today. Maybe I need lower the center and try more for NVIS? I dunno. |

SW of Houston about 70 miles. I'll try to get back on tonight. GF is wanting to go out to eat. I better get off the pc. I'm getting that look. Same look I got when I ordered the 43' multiband from Tom at Zero-Five Antennas. Patrick |

I could pick up bits and pieces, but not enough. lol....i'm guessing you did'nt hear me one bit. You mobile? What kind of antenna? I'm just using a plain old 102" CB whip and a tuner. Tunes great on 20M, but im not sure how well it's getting out. Iv'e had QSO's before, but im thinking a loading coil might help me tons. But i have yet to find a coil that looks like it'll handle ND weather. ETA: QSY to Echolink.

ETA: I DID work W6S earlier! I have a dipole on my roof, and one in my backyard. But the local noise is S7-S9 most of the time. Only time i can get rid of it is when i pull the main breaker. No one device, just everything in general. Noisy house. |
