The battery switch should be for the positive side only.

ETA -- Where did you get the bare hull?

ETA - 2 Battery switch should kill all power to the boat, not just the outboard,

with the exception of the automatic bilge pump (if you install one).

That's awesome! I wish I was a bit younger and had a place to do

a build like that. Maybe a bit bigger, say 14ft. For now I have this "mosquito fleet"

to play with..
