Broke down and bought a new 5th wheel, picked it up today. It's a Forest River Wolverine model 32JF. 35 feet 11 inches in length, unloaded vehicle weight of 10,838 lbs and a cargo carrying capacity of 2,892 lbs. Unloaded pin weight of 1,710 lbs, estimated loaded pin weight 2,200-2,300 lbs. Pulling it with a deleted 2016 Ram 3500 SRW with a B&W slider. With the camper unloaded, the truck didn't even budge when we dropped the pin onto the hitch. EDITED: I had the wrong middle pic, it was showing the next size up which was a bit longer. Congrats. Nice-looking rig. I like the rear kitchen. Wife and I will be there in a few years, we're looking for our retirement rig. Don't want a bus, so we've focused in on fifth wheels. Wife wants to have the Jeep with us, so we're leaning towards ATC. |

Wife and I both work from home so she is outfitting this with Starlink and we are going to start working from the road a bit. I plan to use this for 4-5 years to figure out what we like, don't like and then move into a better model, maybe a Brinkley or have someone like ATC make us a custom layout that fits our needs. |
