Anyone know what the red growth is on my Knockout Roses? It almost seems like maybe the original rose plant from the graft is growing, the red stuff doesn't look at all like the rest of the plant. I hope it's bad, I hate those things, riding next to them mowing is a quart of blood. Wife likes them.Attached File Attached File |

I don’t like them either. I don’t know why they even call them roses. They’re just shrubs with some janky flowers that don’t resemble roses. (No disrespect intended towards your wife. I don’t want to feel the wrath of her scorn [img]/images/smilies/smiley_abused.gif[/img). Try pruning the oddball growth at its source and see if it’s just an anomaly and grows back normal. |
