Yesterday I found this almost pristine tabletop receiver. It works perfectly other than the frequency pointer is about 20 kHz high. I haven't taken the back off to see if it has been recapped, but the corner screws are not original, and the radio is quiet. The problem is that I'm having difficulty finding information. All a search shows me are ones for sale. What years were they made, The case looks like Bakelite, but could be another material. This radio has been very well taken care of. It needs to be preserved, and used.Attached File Attached File Can you recommend a source of information for me. There's bound to be a database or forum for old radio's like this. |

I knew the area in the 70's and the 80's. I am sure it is radically different now with the suburbs getting larger and larger. |

The urban sprawl hasn't quite made it that far yet. It's getting busier in that area, but Bethel is still its own little town. The old feed store in Bethel looks the same as it did when i was a kid. |
